Ladies and germs, today we are making tabouli dip! This recipe was given to me by my amazing friend Ms. Queen Diyana! She is such a great cook and has taught me so many different kinds of recipes. This one in particular is my personal favorite!
Ingredients:
- 1 can lentils
- 1/4-1/2 diced red onion
- full bunch chopped parsley (and stems)
- olive oil
- lemon juice (lime is good too)
- cumin
- paprika
- garlic powder
- pepper and salt
First, wash your can of lentils! My partner and I did not have canned lentils so we used dry red lentils. It was not the best idea and you will see why later
Add 1/4 cup each of olive oil and lemon juice to a small bowl. Add all the spices in however much you want (I do a tablespoon of each cumin, paprika, garlic powder, pepper) and one teaspoon of salt. Mix that shit and add it to the lentils in a big bowl

Oh NO OUR LENTIL IS TOO DRY!!!! Stir Stir Stir
From this experience, I can confidently say that DO NOT USE RED LENTILS!!! We were lazy and did not want to get canned lentils but it wouldve make it 100x better! USE CANNED LENTILS
Anyways
Add chopped parsley and bam ur done!!!
Its COMPLETED!!!!! Chop Chop Chop
If you get sick of it as a dip, blend it and it’s a good salsa for a side or soup!
Thank you for reading my post queens, see you next time!
