Learning about different tools and technology that can help support students with accessibility needs is incredibly important in the current society that we live in. I have encountered students with many different needs that are challenging to accommodate without specific tools. However, sometimes it is hard to find the right thing for particular students because their disabilities manifest in different ways. I very much appreciate the presentation and the knowledge we inquired about through the help of the presenter. I want to research and learn more about this topic but there are so many different challenges out there that it is hard for me to start. From what I have seen, students with attention needs have options to use technologies such as noise-canceling headphones, chrome books, and voice transcription apps. Students with auditory needs have earpieces that connect to the teacher’s microphone. Finally, students with visual needs have voice reading and voice description to help them understand better.
